Female Genital Mutilation includes all procedures involving partial or total removal of the female external genitalia or other injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons.

We are a passionate community-driven Non-profit dedicated to eradicating female genital Mutilation (FGM) and fostering a world where every woman and girl is free from this harmful practice.
Our brand is rooted in empathy, elevation, empowerment, and education.
Even though the precise number of girls and women in 30 countries with representative data on prevalence is still unknown, at least 200 million women have had FGM worldwide.

Balkisu Habib
Balkisu Habib is the founder of WeCancelFGM. She traveled to the areas that are prone to the practice. She provides first-hand witness to women, and families that suffered from this practice. providing insights to the community and their prospective on the practice itself. Through community building and social campaigns, she creates solutions where every voice is heard, and every life is valued."
Balkisu is a dedicated humanitarian and advocate, committed to amplifying the voices of the voiceless, championing crucial causes like WeCancelFGM.
